Creating the perfect holiday table for your celebration is the first step to making the dinner memorable without being too expensive. The best decorations often can be already found around your home or at your local Walmart or Dollar Store. The point is being creative and using what you have such as, candles, pumpkins, pinecones, or autumn leaf decorations. In my example, I used a Gingham table runner I found at Walmart four years ago on discount and a Martha Stewart Thanksgiving plate. Once I laid my table cloth and table runner down I placed the Thanksgiving plate in the center of the table along with my scented candle which I placed in the center of the plate. If you prefer you can also use a pillar candle instead. Next, using decorative pinecones, and pumpkins I created a pattern alternating pumpkins and pinecones creating a an autumn feel. Once you are ready to be seated it is a great time to light your candle giving the room a warm and cozy glow and autumn scent.
